Railway Safety Act 2005 (Part 2) (Establishment Day) Order 2005

I, Martin Cullen, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Railway Safety Act 2005 (No. 31 of 2005), hereby order as follows:

1.      This Order may be cited as the Railway Safety Act 2005 (Part 2) (Establishment Day Order 2005.

2.      The day appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of Part 2 of the Railway Safety Act 2005 (No. 31 of 2005) is 1 January 2006.

This order appoints 1 January 2006 as the day on which the Railway Safety Commission is established.
