European Communities (Driving Theoretical Tests) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

I, Martin Cullen , Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) for the purpose of giving further effect to Article 7(1) of Council Directive No. 91/439/EEC of 29 July 1991¹ , as amended by Council Directive No. 2000/56 of 14 September 2000² , hereby make the following regulations:

1.         (1)       These Regulations may be cited as European Communities (Driving Theoretical Tests) (Amendment) Regulations 2005.

(2)       These Regulations come into operation on 12 December 2005.

2.         The European Communities (Driving Theoretical Tests) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No 52 of 2003 ) are amended in Regulation 5(4), by substituting “€35.60” for “€34”.

These Regulations revise the fee payable in respect of an application for a driver theory test certificate.
