TRANSPORT (RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE) ACT 2001 (LINE A - TALLAGHT TO ABBEY STREET LIGHT RAILWAY) (AMENDMENT) (No. 3) ORDER 2004.

I, SEAMUS BRENNAN, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 43(7)(a) of the Transport (Railway Infrastructure) Act 2001 (No. 55 of 2001) (as adapted by the Public Enterprise (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 305 of 2002 )), on the application of the Railway Procurement Agency, hereby order as follows:

1.  This order may be cited as the Transport (Railway Infrastructure) Act 2001 (Line A - Tallaght to Abbey Street Light Railway) (Amendment) (No. 3) Order 2004.

2.   The Transport (Dublin Light Rail) Act, 1996 (Line A — Tallaght to Abbey Street Light Railway) Order, 1999 is amended in Article 16 by substituting for paragraph (1), as amended by the Transport (Railway Infrastructure) Act 2001 (Line A — Tallaght to Abbey Street Light Railway) (Amendment) Order 2004, the following:

“(1) Construction of authorised works shall be completed within the period of 7 months beginning on 1 March 2004.”.

This Order extends the period during which the RPA is authorised to carry out works on Luas Line A (Tallaght to Abbey Street).
