S.I. No. 238/2001 - National Council For Educational Awards Act, 1979 (Designation of Institutions) (Amendment) Order 2001.

I, Dr. Michael Woods, Minister for Education and Science, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 20 (2) of the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (No. 30 of 1979) (as adapted by the Public Service (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 81 of 1987 ), and the Education (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 430 of 1997 )), with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance and after consultation with the National Council for Educational Awards, hereby order as follows:

1.       This Order may be cited as the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (Designation of Institutions) (Amendment) Order, 2001.

2.       The Schedule to the National Council for Educational Awards Act, 1979 (Designation of Institutions) Order, 1998 ( S.I. No. 484 of 1998 ), is amended by the substitution for “Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown Limited” of “Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown”.
