TRANSFER OF FISHERIES (MOY FISHERY) ORDER, 1994.

I, DAVID ANDREWS, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 42 of the Fisheries Act 1980 (No. 1 of 1980), the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ), as adapted by the Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 82 of 1987 ), hereby, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Transfer of Fisheries (Moy Fishery) Order, 1994.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1995.

2. The several fisheries and properties commonly collectively known as the Moy Fishery and situated in the counties of Sligo and Mayo (being the property comprised in, and conveyed to the Minister for the Marine by, the deed dated the 7th day of April, 1987, made between the Moy Fishery Company Limited and the Minister for the Marine), are hereby transferred to the Central Fisheries Board.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order transfers the Moy Fishery at Ballina, Co. Mayo, which has been in the ownership of the Department of the Marine since 1987, to the Central Fisheries Board.
