Local Elections

Interpretation of Part III .

13.—In this Part—

“local authority” means—

(a) the council of a county,

(b) the corporation of a county or other borough,

(c) the council of an urban district, or

(d) the commissioners of a town;

“local electoral area” means an area by reference to which a local election is held;

“local election” means an election pursuant to this Part.
