AN ACT TO CONTINUE IN OPERATION THE EXCHANGE CONTROL ACT, 1954. [24th December, 1990] |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: |

Continuance of Exchange Control Act, 1954 . |
1.— Section 2 of the Exchange Control Act, 1954 , is hereby amended by the substitution of the following subsection for subsection (2) (inserted by the Exchange Control (Continuance) Act, 1986 ): |

“(2) This Act shall continue in operation until the 31st day of December, 1992, and shall then expire.”. |
||||||||||
|
Short title and collective citation. |
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Exchange Control (Continuance) Act, 1990. |
|||||||||
|
(2) The Exchange Control Acts, 1954 to 1986, and this Act may be cited together as the Exchange Control Acts, 1954 to 1990. |
