INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1969 (DESIGNATED AREA) ORDER, 1982.

I, ALBERT REYNOLDS, Minister for Industry and Energy, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (No. 32 of 1969), and the Industry (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1981 ( S.I. No. 288 of 1981 ), as adapted by the Energy (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1981 ( S.I. No. 289 of 1981 ), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (Designated Area) Order, 1982.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1983.

3. The area consisting of the part of the county borough of Dublin which comprises the following wards, namely, Arran Quay A, Arran Quay B, Arran Quay C, Arran Quay D, Arran Quay E, Inns Quay A, Inns Quay B, Inns Quay C, Rotunda A, Rotunda B, Ballybough A, Ballybough B, Mountjoy A, Mountjoy B, North Dock A, North Dock B, North Dock C, North City, Usher's A, Usher's B, Usher's C, Usher's D, Usher's E, Usher's F, Merchant's Quay A, Merchant's Quay B, Merchant's Quay C, Merchant's Quay D, Merchant's Quay E, Merchant's Quay F, Wood Quay A, Wood Quay B, Royal Exchange A, Royal Exchange B, Saint Kevin's, Mansion House A, Mansion House B, South Dock, Pembroke East A, is hereby declared to be a designated area for the period of 5 years commencing on the commencement of this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to declare the area of the Dublin Inner City comprising the wards listed to be designated for the purposes of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 for a period of five years commencing on 1st January, 1983.
