PETROLEUM OILS (PROHIBITION OF EXPORT) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1971.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, T.D., Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Fuels (Control of Supplies) Act, 1971 (No. 3 of 1971), hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Petroleum Oils (Prohibition of Export) (Amendment) Order, 1971.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 31st day of March, 1971.

3. The Petroleum Oils (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1971 ( S.I. No. 114 of 1971 ), is hereby amended by the insertion in paragraph 3 after "The export" of "(other than to Northern Ireland)".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this order is to exclude exports to Northern Ireland from the scope of the Petroleum Oils (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1971 ( S.I. No. 114 of 1971 ).
