PETROLEUM OILS (PROHIBITION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1971.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, T.D., Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Fuels (Control of Supplies) Act, 1971 (No. 3 of 1971) hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Petroleum Oils (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1971.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 27th day of March, 1971.

3. The export of petroleum oils is hereby prohibited save under and in accordance with a licence granted under this Order.

4. The Minister for Transport and Power may:—

(a) grant a licence to export petroleum oils of a kind or amount specified in the licence,

(b) attach to such a licence any conditions as he thinks proper and specifies in the licence,

(c) vary in writing any such conditions, and

(d) revoke any such licence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to enable the Minister for Transport and Power to control by licence the exportation of petroleum oils.
