INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1969 (COMMENCEMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1970.

I, SEOIRSE Ó COLLA, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (No. 32 of 1969), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 1970.

2. The 1st day of April, 1970, is hereby fixed as the day on which sections 1 to 3, 5 to 16 and 18 to 47 of, and the First and Second Schedules to, the Industrial Development Act, 1969 (No. 32 of 1969), shall come into operation.

3. For the purpose of repealing the enactments mentioned in the Third Schedule to the Industrial Development Act, 1969 , and not already repealed, the 1st day of April, 1970, is hereby fixed as the day on which section 4 of, and the Third Schedule to, that Act shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This instrument brought into force all the sections of, and schedules to the Industrial Development Act, 1969 , which were not already in force by virtue of Statutory Instrument No. 24 of 1970 .
