EXCHANGE CONTROL (CONTINUANCE) ACT, 1962.

AN ACT TO CONTINUE IN OPERATION THE EXCHANGE CONTROL ACT, 1954 . [25th December, 1962.]

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:—

Continuance of Exchange Control Act, 1954.

1.—The following subsection is hereby substituted for subsection (2) of section 2 of the Exchange Control Act, 1954 , as amended by section 1 of the Exchange Control (Continuance) Act, 1958 :

“(2) This Act shall continue in operation until the 31st day of December, 1966, and shall then expire.”

Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Exchange Control (Continuance) Act, 1962.

(2) The Exchange Control Acts, 1954 and 1958, and this Act may be cited together as the Exchange Control Acts, 1954 to 1962.
