LOCAL AUTHORITIES (COMBINED PURCHASING) ACT, 1939 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1960.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 1 of the Local Authorities (Combined Purchasing) Act, 1939 (No. 14 of 1939) hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Combined Purchasing) Act, 1939 (Commencement) Order, 1960.

2. The Local Authorities (Combined Purchasing) Act, 1939 shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1961.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation on the 1st day of January, 1960 the Local Authorities (Combined Purchasing) Act, 1939 (No. 14 of 1939).
