AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 5 OF THE DEFENCE FORCES (PENSIONS) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1938 . [9th July, 1957.] |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:— |

Amendment of of the Defence Forces (Pensions) (Amendment) Act, 1938. |
1.— Section 5 of the Defence Forces (Pensions) (Amendment) Act, 1938 (No. 33 of 1938), is hereby amended by the deletion of “(subject to the previous consent of the Minister for Finance)”. |

Short title and collective citation. |
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Defence Forces (Pensions) (Amendment) Act, 1957. |

|
(2) The Defence Forces (Pensions) Acts, 1932 to 1949, and this Act may be cited together as the Defence Forces (Pensions) Acts, 1932 to 1957. |
