AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (EGGS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1954.

I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Act, 1939 (No. 2 of 1939), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby make the following regulations :—

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) (Amendment) Regulations, 1954.

(2) The Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Regulations, 1939 to 1953, and these Regulations shall be construed as one and may be cited together as the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Regulations, 1939 to 1954.

2. Article 23 of the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Regulations, 1939 ( S. R. & O. No. 169 of 1939 ), is hereby amended—

(a) by the deletion in paragraph (1) (inserted by the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) (Amendment) Regulations, 1939 ( S. R. & O. No. 342 of 1939 ) ) of " from a producer," and

(b) by the insertion in paragraph (5) after " therefrom " of " or which have been duly marked in accordance with Article 16 of these Regulations."

3. The Agricultural Produce (Eggs) (Amendment) Regulations, 1949 ( S.I. No. 19 of 1949 ), and the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) (Amendment) Regulations, 1952 ( S.I. No. 86 of 1952 ), are hereby revoked.

4. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 10th day of April, 1954.
