IRISH LAND COMMISSION. LAND ACT, 1950 (No. 16 OF 1950).

ORDER FIXING THE APPOINTED DAY FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 14 of THE LAND ACT, 1950 .

WHEREAS it is Enacted by Section 14 of the Land Act, 1950 , that the Minister, after consultation with the Judicial Commissioner, may by Order appoint a day to be the Appointed Day for the purposes of the said Section and that the Day so appointed shall be a day not earlier than two months after the day on which such Order is made, Now I, JOSEPH BLOWICK, Minister for Lands, in exercise of the power conferred upon me by Section 14 of the Land Act, 1950 and of every other power enabling me in that behalf, after consultation with the Judicial Commissioner, do hereby Order and Appoint the 30th day of September, 1950, to be the Appointed Day for the purposes of the said Section AND IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that the Day so appointed is a Day not earlier than two months after the day on which this Order is made to wit on the 28th day of June, 1950.
