WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal certain Provisions of the “Copyhold Acts,” and to make further and other Provisions for the Commutation of Manorial Rights in respect of Lands of Copy hold and Customary Tenure, and in respect of other Lands subject to such Rights, and for facilitating the Enfranchisement of such Lands, and for the Improvement of such Tenure:’ Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, as follows:
