S.I. No. 264/2026 - International Protection Act 2026 (Sections 223 and 230) (Prescribed Places) Regulations 2026

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, JIM O’CALLAGHAN, Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3, 223(2)(a) and 230(2)(a) of the International Protection Act 2026 (No. 9 of 2026), hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the International Protection Act 2026 (Sections 223 and 230) (Prescribed Places) Regulations 2026.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on 12 June 2026.

2. Each place specified in the Schedule is a place prescribed for the purposes of sections 223 and 230 of the International Protection Act 2026 (No. 9 of 2026).
