S.I. No. 272/2025 - Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2025

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 13th June, 2025.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2025.

2. The powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, conferred on him by or under the enactments specified in the Schedule are delegated to Marian Harkin, Minister of State at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.

Further Education and Training Act 2013 (No. 25 of 2013) (other than section 6(2), sections 10 to 13 and section 23)
