S.I. No. 267/2025 - Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2025
Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht (as adapted by the Rural and Community Development (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 173/2025 )), and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2025. | ||
2. The powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of the Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht conferred on him – | ||
(a) by or under the provisions of the Acts of the Oireachtas specified in Part 1 of the Schedule, | ||
(b) under the instruments specified in Part 2 of the Schedule, and | ||
(c) by or under – | ||
(i) section 3A(b) of the Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2007 (No. 32 of 2007), | ||
(ii) section 3A of the Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2007 , in so far as it relates to the functions transferred by clause (i), | ||
(iii) section 32 (1)(d)(ii) of the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010 (No. 28 of 2010), and | ||
(iv) section 32 of the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010 , in so far as it relates to the functions transferred by clause (iii), | ||
are delegated to Jerry Buttimer, Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht. | ||
