S.I. No. 216/2023 - National Archives Act 1986 (Section 1(2)(D)) Order 2023

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, CATHERINE MARTIN, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, after consultation with the Director and the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2)(d) of the National Archives Act 1986 (No. 11 of 1986) and the Arts and Culture (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 1993 ( S.I. No. 21 of 1993 ) (as adapted by the Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 403 of 2020 )), hereby make the following Order with respect to which, pursuant to section 1(2)(e) of that Act, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House:

1. This Order may be cited as the National Archives Act 1986 (Section 1(2)(d)) Order 2023.

2. The Schedule to the National Archives Act 1986 (No. 11 of 1986) is amended by the addition of “The Courts Service”.
