I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Finance in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving further effect to Directive 2013/34/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 20131 on the annual financial statements, consolidated financial statements and related reports of certain types of undertakings, amending Directive 2006/43/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directives 78/660/EEC and 83/349/EEC, hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) (Amendment) Regulations 2018. | ||
(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on 16 July 2018. | ||
2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the European Communities (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations 2011 ( S.I. No. 352 of 2011 ). | ||
3. Regulation 42A (inserted by section 100 of the Companies (Accounting) Act 2017 (No. 9 of 2017)) of the Principal Regulations is amended— | ||
(a) in paragraph (2), by the substitution of “deliver to the Registrar, in the form set out in Schedule 17 along with the fee specified in paragraph (9), copies of the documents” for “deliver to the Registrar, in the prescribed manner, copies of the documents”, and | ||
(b) by the insertion of the following paragraph after paragraph (9): | ||
“(9) The fee specified for the purposes of paragraph (2) shall be €15.”. | ||
4. The Principal Regulations are amended by the insertion of the text set out in the Schedule to these Regulations as Schedule 17 to those Regulations. | ||
