S.I. No. 44/2013 - Statistics (Structural Business Inquiries) Order 2013.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 19th February, 2013.

I, ENDA KENNY, Taoiseach, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 25 (1) of the Statistics Act 1993 (No. 21 of 1993) and for the purpose of giving full effect to Regulation (EC) No. 295/2008 of 11 March 20081 as amended by Commission Regulation (EC) No. 251/2009 of 11 March 20092 , hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Structural Business Inquiries) Order 2013.

(2) This Order has effect from 14th February, 2013.

2. This Order applies to any person or undertaking who engaged in one or more of the activities described in Schedule 1 at any time during a year in respect of which a survey is undertaken.

3. A person or undertaking to which this Order applies is required to provide the Central Statistics Office with information under the Statistics Act 1993 in relation to its activities, and in particular with the information specified in Schedule 2, relating to the year preceding the year in which a survey is undertaken.

4. The information referred to in Article 3 shall be provided annually.

5. The following orders are revoked on 13th February, 2013:

(a) Statistics (Service Inquires) Order 2008 ( S.I. No. 77 of 2008 );

(b) Statistics (Census of Industrial Production) Order 2008 ( S.I. No. 78 of 2008 );

(c) Statistics (Building and Construction Inquiries) Order 2009 ( S.I. No. 115 of 2009 ).
