S.I. No. 623/2010 - Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Act 2010 (Commencement) Order 2010.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 28th December, 2010.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2) of the Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Act 2010 , hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Act 2010 (Commencement) Order 2010.

2. (1) Subject to paragraph (2), the 21st day of December 2010 is appointed as the day on which the Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Act 2010 comes into operation.

(2) Section 59(2) of the Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Act 2010 comes into operation on the day following the day provided for by paragraph (1).
