Road Traffic Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006

I, Martin Cullen, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 23(2) of the Road Traffic Act 2006 (No. 23 of 2006), hereby order as follows:

1.        This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006.

2.        The day fixed as the day on which the Road Traffic Act 2006 (No. 23 of 2006) (other than sections 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 16 and 18) comes into operation is 21 July 2006.

This Order brings into operation with effect from 21 July 2006 certain provisions of the Road Traffic Act 2006 (No. 23 of 2006).
