I, MARTIN CULLEN, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 24 of the Road Transport Act 1999 (No. 15 of 1999) (as adapted by the Public Enterprise (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 305 of 2002 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Transport Act 1999 (Repeals) (Commencement Order 2005.

2. The day fixed as the day on which the repeal of a provision of an Act mentioned in column (3) of the Schedule to this Order opposite mention of the Act in column (2) of the Schedule, being a provision repealed by section 23 of the Road Transport Act 1999 (No. 15 of 1999), comes into operation is 31 October 2005.
