S.I. No. 873/2004 - Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2004

I, MICHAEL McDOWELL T.D., Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 16 (3) of the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act 2004 (No. 38 of 2004) hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2004.

2. The 1st day of January 2005 is hereby fixed as the day on which the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act 2004 (No. 38 of 2004) shall come into operation.
