I, CHARLIE McCREEVY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Ordnance Survey Ireland Act 2001 (No. 43 of 2001), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Ordnance Survey Ireland Act 2001 (Establishment Day) Order 2002.

2. The 4th day of March, 2002, is appointed as establishment day for the purposes of the Ordnance Survey Ireland Act 2001 (No. 43 of 2001).

This order appoints the 4th day of March, 2002, as the establishment day for the purposes of the Ordnance Survey Ireland Act, 2001 .

On the establishment day a body corporate, to be known as Ordnance Survey Ireland, will be established.
