S.I. No. 426/2001 - Sex Offenders Act, 2001 (Commencement) Order, 2001

I, JOHN O'DONOGHUE, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Sex Offenders Act, 2001 (No. 18 of 2001) order as follows:

1.      This Order may be cited as the Sex Offenders Act, 2001 (Commencement) Order, 2001.

2.      The 27th day of September, 2001, is fixed as the day on which the Sex Offenders Act, 2001 (No. 18 of 2001), shall come into operation.
