S.I. No. 310/2001 - Economic and Monatary Union Act, 1998 (Section 11(2)) (Commencement) Order, 2001

I, Charlie McCreevy, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Economic and Monetary Union Act, 1998 (No. 38 of 1998), hereby order as follows:

1.   This Order may be cited as the Economic and Monetary Union Act, 1998 (Section 11(2)) (Commencement) Order, 2001.

2.   The 1st day of January, 2002, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 11 (2) of the Economic and Monetary Union Act, 1998 (No. 38 of 1998), shall come into operation.
