Companies (Fees) Order, 2000

I, Mary Harney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 395 of the Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), and section 12C of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1982 (No. 10 of 1982) (inserted by section 46 of the Companies (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (No. 30 of 1999)), as adapted by the Enterprise and Employment (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 305 of 1997 ), hereby order as follows:

1.       This Order may be cited as the Companies (Fees) Order, 2000.

2.       This Order shall come into operation on the 18th. day of April, 2000.

3.       The Eighth Schedule to the Companies Act 1963 (No. 33 of 1963) (inserted by the Companies (Fees) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 358 of 1997 )), is hereby altered:

(a)      by the substitution for any reference to the “Companies Acts 1963 to 1990” of “Companies Acts 1963 to 1999”, and

(b)      by the addition to the Table of Fees set out in Part I of the matter set out in the Schedule to this Order.

4.       There is hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 12C(2) of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1982 (No. 10 of 1982), (inserted by section 46 of the Companies (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (No. 30 of 1999)), a fee of £250.
