S.I. No. 61/2000 - Companies (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (Commencement) Order, 2000

I, Mary Harney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (4) of the Companies (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (No. 30 of 1999), hereby order as follows:

1.      This Order may be cited as the Companies (Amendment) (No.2) Act, 1999 (Commencement) Order, 2000.

2.      The 23rd. day of March, 2000, is hereby appointed as the day on which sections 46 , 49 ; 50 and 51 of the Companies (Amendment) (No.2) Act, 1999 (No. 30 of 1999), shall come into operation.

3.      The 18th. day of April, 2000, is hereby appointed as the day on which sections 42 to 45 , 47 and 48 of the Companies (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 (No. 30 of 1999) and the Second Schedule to that Act (in so far as it relates to Part IV thereof), shall come into operation.

This Order appoints the dates on which the specified sections of the Companies (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1999 and the Second Schedule to that Act (in so far as it relates to Part IV thereof) shall come into operation.
