S.I. No. 117/2000 - National Treasury Management Agency (Delegation of Functions) Order, 2000

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 5 of the National Treasury Management Agency Act, 1990 (No. 18 of 1990), hereby order as follows:

1.   This Order may be cited as the National Treasury Management Agency (Delegation of Functions) Order, 2000.

2.   The functions of the Minister for Finance under subsections (2), (3) and (4) of section 157 of the Finance Act, 2000 (No. 3 of 2000), are hereby delegated to the National Treasury Management Agency.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

As provided for in Section 5 of the National Treasury Management Agency Act, 1990 and Section 157 of the Finance Act, 2000 , this Order delegates to the National Treasury Management Agency the statutory functions of the Minister for Finance relating to deposit accounts for Exchequer moneys.
