S.I. No. 29/1999 - Education Act, 1998 (Commencement) Order, 1999

I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Minister for Education and Science, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Education Act, 1998 (No. 51 of 1998), hereby order as follows:

1. This order may be cited as the Education Act, 1998 (Commencement) Order, 1999.

2. The fifth day of February, 1999, is hereby fixed as the day on which sections 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 13 , 25 , 26 , 36 and 37 and Parts VIII and IX of the Education Act, 1998 (No. 51 of 1998), shall come into operation.
