PRESIDENTIAL ESTABLISHMENT ACT, 1938 (INCREASE OF EMOLUMENTS AND ALLOWANCES) ORDER, 1998

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 (3) (inserted by the Presidential Establishment (Amendment) Act, 1991 (No. 10 of 1991)) of the Presidential Establishment Act, 1938 (No. 24 of 1938), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Presidential Establishment Act, 1938 (Increase of Emoluments and Allowances) Order, 1998.

2. Paragraph (a) (inserted by the Presidential Establishment (Amendment) Act, 1991 (No. 10 of 1991)) of subsection (1) (inserted by the Presidential Establishment (Amendment) Act, 1973 (No. 18 of 1973)) of section I of the Presidential Establishment Act, 1938 (No. 24 of 1938), is hereby amended by the substitution for "£120,000" (inserted by the Presidential Establishment Act, 1938 (Section 1 (3)) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 455 of 1997 )) of£250,000".
