LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1998 (COMMENCEMENT) (NO. 3) ORDER, 1998.

The Minister for the Environment and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 15 (4) of the Local Government Act, 1998 , hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act, 1998 , (Commencement) (No. 3) Order, 1998.

2. The 1st day of August, 1998, is hereby appointed to be the day on which section 8 of the Local Government, 1998, shall come into operation generally.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into effect certain provisions of the Local Government Act, 1998 in relation to motor tax.
