STILLBIRTHS REGISTRATION ACT, 1994 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1994

I, MERVYN TAYLOR, Minister for Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 (3) of the Stillbirths Registration Act, 1994 (No. 1 of 1994), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Stillbirths Registration Act, 1994 (Commencement) Order, 1994.

2. The Stillbirths Registration Act, 1994 , shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1995.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings the provisions of the Stillbirths Registration Act, 1994 (which provides for the registration of stillbirths) into operation on 1 January, 1995.
