EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (MOTOR VEHICLES (REGISTRATION OF IMPORTERS) ACT, 1968 (REPEAL)) REGULATIONS, 1984.

I, JOHN BRUTON, Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities ( Motor Vehicles (Registration of Importers) Act, 1968 (Repeal)) Regulations, 1984.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1985.

2. The Motor Vehicles (Registration of Importers) Act, 1968 (No. 15 of 1968), is hereby repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations repeal the Motor Vehicles (Registration of Importers) Act, 1968 .
