ARBITRATION ACT, 1980 (NEW YORK CONVENTION) ORDER, 1983.

I, PETER BARRY, Minister for Foreign Affairs, in exercise of the power conferred on me by sections 6 (2) and 6 (3) of the Arbitration Act, 1980 (No. 7 of 1980), hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Arbitration Act, 1980 (New York Convention) Order, 1983.

2. Each state specified in the Schedule to this Order is a party to the New York Convention.

3. The Arbitration Act, 1980 (New York Convention) Order, 1981 ( S.I. No. 175 of 1981 ), is hereby revoked.
