AN ACT TO MAKE NEW PROVISION FOR THE FIXING OF THE TERMS OF THE TENANCIES OF CERTAIN DWELLINGS AND FOR THAT PURPOSE TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A RENT TRIBUNAL, FOR THE APPOINTMENT BY HOUSING AUTHORITIES OF RENT OFFICERS AND FOR THE FUNCTIONS OF THE TRIBUNAL AND RENT OFFICERS, TO MAKE CERTAIN CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS TO THE HOUSING (PRIVATE RENTED DWELLINGS) ACT, 1982 , AND TO PROVIDE FOR OTHER RELATED MATTERS.
