COMPANIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1982 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1982.

I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 24 (3) of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1982 (No. 10 of 1982), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1982 (Commencement) Order, 1982.

2. The 3rd day of August, 1982, is hereby fixed as the date on which the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1982 (No. 10 of 1982), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order fixes the 3rd day of August, 1982 as the day on which the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1982 shall come into operation.
