I, ALAN M. DUKES, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by
section 3
of the
European Communities Act, 1972
(No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving effect to Council Directive 80/720/EEC of 24 June, 1980*
, in so far as that Directive applies to the type approval of agricultural or forestry tractors and components, hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Agricultural or Forestry Tractors Type Approval) Regulations, 1981, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1981.
|
| |
2. The following Schedule is hereby substituted for Schedule I to the European Communities (Agricultural or Forestry Tractors Type Approval) Regulations, 1979 (
S.I. No. 137 of 1979
) (inserted by the European Communities (Agricultural or Forestry Tractors Type Approval) Regulations, 1980 (
S.I. No. 101 of 1980
)).
