SOCIAL WELFARE (VARIATION OF WEEKLY AMOUNTS OF SUPPLEMENTARY WELFARE ALLOWANCE) REGULATIONS, 1979.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 10 (3) and 21 of the Social Welfare (Supplementary Welfare Allowances) Act, 1975 (No. 28 of 1975) hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Social Welfare (Variation of Weekly Amounts of Supplementary Welfare Allowance) Regulations, 1979.

2. The weekly amounts of supplementary welfare allowance are hereby varied with effect on and from the 1st day of October, 1979 by the substitution for the amounts set out in the Table to subsection (1) of section 10 of the Social Welfare (Supplementary Welfare Allowances) Act, 1975 (as amended by the Social Welfare Act, 1979 (No. 8 of 1979)) of the amounts set out in the Table to this article.
