DROGHEDA BOARD OF CONSERVATORS (DISSOLUTION) ORDER, 1975.

WHEREAS the Board of Conservators for the No. 171 or Drogheda Fishery District has wilfully neglected to comply with a direction relating to the collection of fishery rates given to the Board by me, I, MICHAEL PAT MURPHY, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 51 of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959), the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 83 of 1965 ) (as adapted by the Agriculture (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1965 ( S.I. No. 146 of 1965 )), and the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 93 of 1973 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Drogheda Board of Conservators (Dissolution) Order, 1975.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 27th day of January, 1975.

3. The Board of Conservators for the No. 171 or Drogheda Fishery District is hereby dissolved and the funds, books and other property and the several powers, duties and liabilities of the said Board are hereby transferred to Miss Noreen O'Keefe, Inland Fisheries Division, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Agriculture House, Kildare Street, Dublin 2, who is hereby appointed to perform the duties of the said Board.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The Order provides for the dissolution of the Drogheda Board of Conservators and the appointment of an administrator to perform the duties of the Board.
