TRANSPORT ACT, 1964 (SECTION 6) ORDER, 1969.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 6 (2) of the Transport Act, 1964 (No. 30 of 1964), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Order, with respect to which, pursuant to section 6 (5) of that Act, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House :

1. This Order may be cited as the Transport Act, 1964 (Section 6) Order, 1969.

2. The amount of the grant payable to Córas Iompair Éireann under section 6 (1) of the Transport Act, 1964 (No. 30 of 1964), shall be £2,650,000.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to increase from £2 million to £2,650,000 the annual grant payable to Córas Iompair Éireann under Section 6 (1) of the Transport Act, 1964 .
