HEALTH AUTHORITIES ACT, 1960 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1964.

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 30 of the Health Authorities Act, 1960 (No. 9 of 1960) hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Health Authorities Act, 1960 (Commencement) Order, 1964.

2. Section 25 of the Health Authorities Act, 1960 , shall come into operation on 1st day of April, 1964.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order ends from 1st day of April, 1964, the arrangement whereby the County of Wicklow was part of the functional area of the Dublin Health Authority for the provision of services under the Mental Treatment Acts, 1945 to 1961. As from the 1st April, 1964, the duty of providing such services in County Wicklow devolves on the Council of the County of Wicklow.
