SUMMER TIME ORDER, 1963.

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of section 3 of the Summer Time Act, 1925 (No. 8 of 1925), hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Summer Time Order, 1963.

2. The period of summer time appointed by the Summer Time Order, 1926, shall not be the period of summer time for the purposes of the Summer Time Act, 1925 (No. 8 of 1925), during the year 1964.

3. The period of summer time for the purposes of the Summer Time Act, 1925 (No. 8 of 1925), during the year 1964, shall be the period beginning at two o'clock, West-European time, in the morning of the 22nd day of March, 1964, and ending at two o'clock, West-European time, in the morning of the 25th day of October, 1964.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes the period of summer time during the year 1964 as the period from the morning of 22nd March, 1964, to the morning of 25th October, 1964.

In accordance with subsection (2) of section 3 of the Summer time Act, 1925 , the above Order has been approved by resolution of each House of the Oireachtas.
