FISHERIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1962 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1962.

I, MICHEÁL Ó MÓRÁIN, Minister for Lands, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (4) of section 38 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1962 (No. 31 of 1962), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1962 (Commencement) Order, 1962.

2. In this Order " the Act " means the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1962 (No. 31 of 1962).

3. The 1st day of January, 1963, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Act (other than sections 14 and 28) shall come into operation.

4. The 1st day of March, 1963, is hereby fixed as the day on which sections 14 and 28 of the Act shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order fixes the dates on which the provisions of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1962 , come into operation.
