HEALTH AUTHORITIES ACT, 1960 (COMMENCEMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1960.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 30 of the Health Authorities Act, 1960 (No. 9 of 1960) (hereinafter called " the Act ") hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Health Authorities Act, 1960 Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 1960.

2. Section 19 of the Act shall, with respect to the Limerick Health Authority and their functional area, come into operation on 1st day of September, 1960.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation, In respect of Limerick, the provisions of Section 19 of the Health Authorities Act, 1960 , which relates to the creation of a single office of chief medical officer under the Limerick Health Authority in place of separate offices of county medical officer and city medical officer.
