GREYHOUND INDUSTRY ACT, 1958 (COMMENCEMENT OF SECTION 26) ORDER, 1958.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (No. 12 of 1958), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (Commencement of Section 26) Order, 1958.

2. The 1st day of January, 1959, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 26 of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 , shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of the Order is to bring into operation on 1st January, 1959 the provisions of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 relating to the Irish Coursing Club, particularly the new constitution of the Club in the Schedule to the Act.
